My Blog at The Other Side...

  • Dec. 18th, 2011 at 6:25 PM

My blog has grown somewhat since I first posted about it here in 2008. Here's the introduction...

Welcome to The Other Side – my little corner of cyberspace where I write about my experiences and thoughts on Witchcraft, Pagan Spirituality, the Paranormal, Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and sometimes the interconnectedness of these topics, as well as my day-to-day family stuff here in Sydney, Australia.

This blog has recently undergone some reorganization, which will hopefully make it easier to navigate. I also have 4 other blogs (which could be considered as sub-sections of The Other Side) that are linked to on the appropriate pages here.

Please use the top menu to find the various pages and posts on topics you are interested in. The menu to the right contains links to my most recent posts in addition to a very extensive ‘blog roll’ containing other websites and blogs on related topics. I hope you enjoy browsing my ‘inane ramblings’.

I haven't posted here for a while so I thought it might be time to let you know that Spheres Of Light is still going strong. Check out our website if you're looking for Pagan gatherings in the southern Sydney area, especially if you're in the Sutherland Shire, Northern Illawarra and surrounding areas.

The National Pagan Directory is an initiative of Spheres Of Light (a Pagan group meeting in Sutherland Shire & Illawarra for Full Moon & Dark Moon Circles, meditations, workshops & classes) to help Pagans connect with other Pagans within Australia.

Spheres Of Light receives inquiries on a regular basis from people hoping we might know of a pagan group in their area. As a result we have decided to set up the National Pagan Directory which we hope will quickly grow to become a useful resource for those seeking others of like mind in their local area.

So, if you have a coven/group or run regular Pagan meet-ups and want to encourage others to contact you please send an email to npd@spheresoflight.com.au. We also invite Celebrants in the Pagan community to promote their services in the NPD.

We need to know as much of the following as you are able to provide…

Location: (suburb/city, and postcode)
Name: (the name of the group or meet up)
Description: (a one or two sentence description of your group. Celebrants please include a list of the services you are willing to perform.)
Contact: (name of person to contact)
Phone/Mobile:
Email:
Website: (if you have one)

I have moved to WordPress

  • Oct. 8th, 2008 at 1:00 PM

Recently I decided to start up a more personal blog on WordPress which I like much better than LJ (sorry LJ). I like the way I can set it up more like a website with 'pages' as well as 'blogs' and make it look a little more the way I want. I'm rather anal-retentive about how my stuff 'looks' LOL. Anyway, it can be found at...

Paranormal Investigations

  • Mar. 30th, 2008 at 1:15 PM

We also have a paranormal investigation sub-group called SOuL Searchers...

One of the many things you will find unique about the SOuL Searchers team, unlike the majority of other paranormal investigators is that we undertake our investigations from a shamanic perspective. For more information please see our website at soulsearchers.spheresoflight.com.au

Hi - I'm a member of a Pagan group, called Spheres Of Light, in Sydney Australia, and I thought this would be a good place to tell you a bit about our group, as well as post updates and info about our activities and events... So, if you see anything that interests you, please follow the links to our website and forums to find out more.

Spheres Of Light (SOL) is an association of individuals from a variety of Pagan paths who meet in Southern Sydney, the Illawarra and surrounding regions. We maintain a strong emphasis on teaching and training so, in addition to our open Sabbat and Full Moon gatherings, we conduct highly interactive classes and workshops. We also hold informal meditation groups in various parks and places of natural beauty.

If you would like more information about Spheres Of Light or Paganism in general, or would like to attend any of our gatherings, please visit our website at spheresoflight.com.au
